“Los Blancos” emerged victorious in the UEFA Champions League last season, despite a poor run towards the end of the competition, but the team found a way to win and reach the top spot.
Watkins, who came on as a substitute and scored the winner against the Netherlands, said the team showed signs in the same way that Real Madrid did.
“You see teams like Real Madrid in the Champions League, they are comfortable without the ball and they have the confidence when they have the ball that they can score goals,” Watkins said.
“I feel the same here. We want to win. Then we just need one chance and we can win the game. It doesn’t matter if we play badly or if we don’t stop. We have world-class talent who can achieve that.” ( vox888 )
