Green Bay Packers wide receivers coach Jason Vrabel believes Sammy Watkins is in the right place and will succeed with the Packers after the 28-year-old wide receiver signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Packers this offseason, NFL Network reported Friday.  ( vox888 )

Vrabel, 37, worked with Watkins at the Buffalo Bills from 2014-16 before the 28-year-old wide receiver reunited with him in Green Bay, and Vrabel believes his former teammate is in the right place and will succeed with the Packers. 

“I talked to Sammy about it the other day, the way he’s running certain routes and catching the ball, it reminds me of when he first walked on the field (in Buffalo),” Vrabel said. “The biggest thing is some injuries, if you look at that, but he knows he’s going to work as hard as he can. He’s doing all his conditioning workouts here, he feels good in his body already.”
