Van Dijk has been linked with a move to PSG, with reports suggesting the French club have offered a combined €80m in wages and €20m in bonuses, with the total potentially rising to €100m, in a bid to entice the Netherlands captain to commit his future.

However, Laurens insists that there is nothing true about the links between Van Dijk and PSG. “There is nothing between PSG and Virgil van Dijk. There are no discussions, no negotiations, no €100m offer, nothing.”
“Van Dijk spoke to Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaifi after the second Champions League game and it wasn’t about his future, it was about the two games they played.”
Van Dijk previously said in an interview that he had spoken to Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Luis Campos to apologise after the players had a falling out with the pair after the first half ended.
