Spanish outlet Superdeporte reported on Wednesday that Aston Villa have shown interest in Osasuna’s 23-year-old centre-back Enzo Boyomo and are prepared to pay his €25m release clause to bring the Cameroon international to the club in January.
Boyomo joined Osasuna from Real Valladolid in the summer for €5m plus €500,000 in add-ons, and the 23-year-old centre-back has impressed for Rojillo’s side since the start of the season and has emerged as a target for Aston Villa.
The Villans are set to let Brazilian centre-back Diego Carlos leave Villa Park, with links to Real Betis’ 30-year-old centre-back Diego Llorente, before being linked with a move for the younger, less expensive Boyomo, who could also be tempted to sell for less than his release clause. ( vox888 )
