Aston Villa confirmed on the club’s website that the signings of Eling-Junior and Barrenacchia were completed around the same time, but details of the deals, such as the length of their deals, were not disclosed.

Eling-Junior travelled to Aston Villa for a medical on Tuesday, with Barrenacia then set to join the club in the coming days, with personal terms between the pair having been agreed.

For 20-year-old winger Ealing-Junior, who is an England Under-21 international, he made 21 appearances for Juventus last season, while 23-year-old Argentine midfielder Barrenekia was sent out on loan to Frosinone, where he made 36 appearances.
