123overr Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed he has yet to speak to Manchester United ‘s new manager Ruben Amorim and does not know what his future holds at the club.

“We haven’t spoken yet, there’s been no contact, so nothing has changed. I don’t know when that will be,” Van Nistelrooy said. 123overr

“I’m focused on the present. It’s very difficult to comment on that. Right now I want to put all my energy into the team today.”

“I can’t answer that question for adopting his style of play because I’m very focused on getting good results. They’re two important games of the season. I think that focusing on results at this point in time is what helps the new manager the most.”

“It’s difficult to comment on my future at the moment. I’m waiting for the discussions to happen. The most important thing at the moment is to do your best every day, especially in Europe tonight.”

“I have to say that I feel a responsibility to do well over the next few weeks and that’s my job. I’m focused on that. I welcome Ruben, I’m happy to help him if the club needs him and that’s the situation at the moment.”

Van Nistelrooy was appointed as caretaker manager at United after Erik ten Hag was sacked and has now taken charge of the team in two games, beating Leicester City and drawing with Chelsea.

The Dutch legend is set to be in action for Thursday’s Europa League clash with PAOK.
