If they qualify for the knockout stages, Real Madrid will have a game on July 1 where they could name Trent if an early signing doesn’t materialise, but Los Blancos are reportedly keen to include the assist-rich full-back in the tournament from the start, with British media suggesting another possibility could see the Spanish giants pay Liverpool a fee in compensation to make the deal happen.
