Forest have agreed to sell Odysseus Vlachodimos to Newcastle, leaving the Owls looking for a new goalkeeper to help them through the 2024/25 season.  vox888

Sky Sports have now revealed that Forest remain interested in Palace’s Johnston, with the England goalkeeper contracted to Selhurst Park until mid-2027.  ( vox888 )

The 31-year-old goalkeeper has been struggling with an elbow injury since March, which has kept him sidelined for some time, but has now returned to training and is preparing for next season.

It remains to be seen whether Forest will make a serious approach for Johnston. Although the club have Matz Sells as their number one, the club is ready to bring in another goalkeeper to boost the team’s competitiveness.

Johnston also has to weigh up his future, with his current situation at Palace being second to Dean Henderson.
