Calafiori has not played in Arsenal’s last 10 games due to a knee injury sustained on international duty, but has returned to training and was fit to be named in the squad for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
Arteta said of the Italy international’s availability: “He travelled with the team, he is fit and available to play if we need him, that’s great news.”
Timber, who was injured and did not play in the last league game against Bournemouth, also travelled with the team, but his condition is not yet 100%.
“We will have to assess his condition today (Tuesday) to see if he can start,” the Gunners boss said.
