‘Diario Sport’ reported on Friday that Barcelona are planning to sell Andreas Christensen this summer, but the Danish international has no plans to leave and is targeting a stay at the Blaugrana until the end of his contract in the summer of 2026.
Barcelona are keen to reduce some of their wage bill to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, with Christensen among the players who could be offloaded this summer.
Christensen suffered a hamstring injury in the season opener against Valencia and took four months to recover, but he suffered a thigh problem in January and will be out for another month, although he is fit now, and has not played in Hansi Flick’s last six games.
