Stroud suffered a concussion in the loss to the New York Jets in Week 14 and was in concussion protocol until missing last week’s game against the Tennessee Titans before Ryans. Will disqualify the No. 2 rookie draft pick for the game against the Browns on Sunday. ( hotfuns )
When asked if Stroud’s injury would cause him to end his season prematurely, the Texans head coach said ‘no.’
‘Each concussion symptom is different. Each person requires different times to heal. He was just following the protocol like everyone else. The most important thing is to make sure C.J. is healthy.’
The Texans will have 35-year-old veteran quarterback Case Keenum start, as he did last week. After the 35-year-old commander helped lead the team to a 19-16 win over the Titans in extra time last Sunday.
The Texans are currently 8-6, tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts for the AFC South title in the final three games of the regular season.
