sudpung168 The latest developments ahead of Super Bowl 52 on Sunday, February 4th, are that both teams had their first practice yesterday (Wednesday, January 31st). New England had some good news as their star winger was able to sweat it out with the main team without any physical contact.

Rob Gronkowski suffered a concussion in the AFC Conference Championship game, a 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and is on track to win the franchise’s eighth Vince Lombardi Trophy.   sudpung168

The 28-year-old has been sweating it out in practice since last week, but has yet to receive the green light to practice fully as he must pass a concussion test. 

Four days before the match day, ‘Gronk’ was able to wear his armor, helmet and no longer wear the red coat that means ‘no fighting’ to train with the media, so it is good news that he may be fit this week. 

Quarterback Tom Brady, who still needs to have the base of his right thumb taped with 12 stitches, will no longer be required to wear a throwing glove. Defensive lineman Detrich Wise (concussion) and cornerback Malcolm Brown (foot) are still in limited practice. 

The Eagles, the championship contender, practiced without defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (illness), while running back Jay Ajayi (ankle), defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (calf) and linebacker Danielle Ellerb (hamstring) practiced in full.   ( sudpung168 )
