Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard credited the offensive line with helping him score two runs and one catch in Thursday’s 34-27 win over the Green Bay Packers, NFL Network reported Friday.
Howard rushed 15 times for 87 yards and two touchdowns and caught three times for 28 yards and another score, while rookie running back Myles Sanders rushed 11 times for 72 yards but no scores. Even though quarterback Carson Wentz threw for just 160 yards, the fourth-fewest of his career, he still had three touchdowns, the first time he had at least three scores on fewer than 170 yards passing since Donovan McNabb in Week 3 of the 2001 season with the Dallas Cowboys.
