“I’ve always talked about the opportunity,” Lynn told reporters Friday. “He looks great, he’s in great shape, but he hasn’t had any football training, so he’s obviously not ready to go back there and take the load right now, but you never know, he might have to.”
Gordon ended his ‘holdout’ and returned to practice Thursday, although many believed the 26-year-old running back wasn’t ready to play Sunday. But that’s a possibility, as backup running back Justin Jackson has been limited in practice with a calf injury.
