sqgame555 Travis Kelce will have time to think before deciding whether to continue or end his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Kansas City Chiefs have given 35-year-old wide receiver Travis Kelce until March 14 to decide whether he will play next season, The Athletic reports. sqgame555
Kelce, who turns 36 in October, has one more season on his contract and is due to receive a $12.5 million bonus on March 15. The Chiefs are likely to have $5.38 million in salary-cap space for 2025, which would rank them 23rd out of 32 teams.
So the Chiefs will need to make some moves to free up some salary cap space before the free-agent market opens on March 10.
Kelsey had 97 catches for 823 yards, averaging 8.5 yards per catch and three touchdowns, a career low. He also had just four catches for 39 yards in the 22-40 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. ( sqgame555 )
