nuno168 Liverpool boss Arne Schlot has provided an update on Ibrahima Konaté after he suffered an injury in the Premier League clash with Brighton , forcing him to be substituted at half-time.

“He can come back and play. I think he’s fully recovered, so he can play. Then it’s my decision whether to give him a chance or not. He’s in a good place.” nuno168

Schlot also spoke about Sunday’s win over Brighton and the team’s preparations for the midweek UCL clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

“It’s very important (to perform well in both halves) because football is played in two halves, with the ball and without it. If you play against a great team you have to perform well in both halves.”

“We played poorly in the first half, both with and without the ball, against Brighton, which showed us that we had to perform well in the second half because Leverkusen had the same possession record as Brighton.” ( nuno168 )
