Rodri helped Spain win their fourth European Championship and their first since Euro 2012 after beating England 2-1 in the final, with the Manchester City midfielder also named the tournament’s Player of the Tournament.
The 28-year-old said after the game: “This is probably the best day of my career. We are European champions, which is as difficult as it gets. We have become the most successful national team in Europe.”
