If the deal goes through, Pattinson will be joined by Timothée Chalamet, who will return as Paul, Florence Pugh, who will return as Princess Irulan, Zendaya, who will return as Shani, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who will play Alia Artredis.
Pattinson is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” which is rumored to be playing the god Hermes. Pattinson is also set to return to the role in “The Batman: Part II” later this year, meaning he’ll have to find a time to star in “Dune Messiah” between “The Odyssey” and “Batman,” which is set to begin shooting this summer.
“Dune Messiah” takes place twelve years after the last film, with Paul ascending to the throne as Emperor with Princess Irulan as his wife, while continuing his relationship with his concubine Shanni.
