With 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Jokic was stealing a rebound and didn’t see Barnes behind him, so he instinctively swung his elbow and it hit his cheekbone.

Had to stagger and be helped into the locker room by the staff, leaving the game and never coming back to continue the game. 

Barnes had 21 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists and five steals in 35 minutes of play. 

On the other hand, Jokic had 40 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. 

During the game, Denver was down by as many as 15 points , but they fought to drag the game out to overtime and secured their first win of the season.  Player1688
