According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Osimhen has been a target for Paris Saint-Germain since last summer, but has been unable to meet the €130m release clause in his previous contract with Napoli.

Paris Saint-Germain remain unwavering in their interest in Osimhen, despite the Nigeria international currently playing for Turkish side Galatasaray after signing on loan from Napoli for the 2024-25 season.

According to reports, before the summer move, Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli that included a reduced release clause of €75m, but if any club wants to buy him in the January transfer window, they will have to pay Galatasaray a €6m termination fee.

This season, Osimhen has scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 13 games in all competitions. ( wilson88 )
