popslot Dallas Cowboys new running back Javontae Williams is confident he is 100 percent fit for next season.

Running back Javontae Williams, 25, is confident he is physically ready for the 2025 season after signing with the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, NFL Network reports. popslot

Williams signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Cowboys this offseason after a four-year stint with the Denver Broncos, where he struggled with a torn ACL, LCL and PCL, limiting his appearances to just 54 games (29 starts), but the 25-year-old running back is confident he’s back to normal.

“I feel fine,” Williams said. “I could be more flexible and things like that, but as far as healing goes, I feel like it’s done.”

Williams, a former second-round draft pick in the 2021 draft, impressed in his rookie season, rushing 203 times for 903 yards and four touchdowns. He also caught 43 passes for 316 yards and three scores in 17 games (one start) before the 25-year-old running back struggled with injuries.

However, Williams is confident he still has plenty of energy left and he is ready to show it after a difficult journey to 100 per cent.

“It depends on who you are. It depends on your body. Mine took this long, but it might be different for someone else,” Williams said of his recovery. “There’s a lot of things that people don’t really understand. Just to be back here and have another chance and another chance to express myself, I couldn’t ask for anything else.”

In addition to Williams, the Cowboys signed Miles Sanders and selected running backs Jadon Blue and Phil Mafah in the fifth and seventh rounds of the draft, respectively.  ( popslot )
