Reed, who has been the Chiefs’ head coach since 2013, spoke to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer ahead of Super Bowl 2018 about a possible retirement and the 64-year-old coach’s decision to make.

“I look in the mirror and I’m old,” Reed said after the win over the Eagles. “I’m still young at heart. I still enjoy what I do. I’ve been asked that 50 times here, and I say, ‘Whatever. ‘ I’m good at what I do. Listen, if they need me, I’ll be there.”

At 64 years, 330 days old, Reid became the fourth-oldest head coach to win a Super Bowl, the 14th head coach to win the title more than once and the only head coach in history to win at least 10 playoff games with multiple franchises. He finished 22-16, behind only Bill Belichick. Reid is also the fourth head coach to win more than 200 regular seasons.

“‘Credit to my guys for working hard in the offseason,’ Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said. ‘The coaches that got the young guys, you know, the kids played well today. I think there’s a little bit of confidence. The AFC is a tough conference all year long, and we know if it’s a tight game, we have an advantage because we’ve played a lot of tight games this year. The end of this game is on us.’
