Leicester City are highly likely to part ways with Van Nistelrooy after the end of the 2024-25 season, having replaced Steve Cooper at the start of November last year and failing to improve.
The Foxes were confirmed as the second team to be relegated from the Premier League in April, with Van Nistelrooy’s overall performance no better than Cooper’s, winning just four of 24 games in charge. Therefore, they are unlikely to continue in the Championship for the 2025-26 season, despite being contracted to the King Power Stadium until 2027.
TalkSport reports that Dyche has emerged as a potential choice for Leicester director of football Jon Rudkin because of his Premier League experience and two successes leading the team to promotion to the top flight.
