According to Sky Sport Deutsche Land, the 31-year-old has agreed a two-year contract with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, with an option to join the club, and will become a free agent from July 1.
The Englishman has been on loan at Bayern from Spurs since January 2024, before signing a one-year contract in the summer.
But because of the few opportunities to play under coach Vincent Kompany, he started only 13 league games, 3 Champions League games, and played 25 matches in all competitions.
“We have discussed with Aerid a new contract,” sporting director Christoph Freund said in a statement.
“He told us that he did not want to expand and that he would part ways with us,”
“He’s a good guy. We had a great time together. Hopefully he can celebrate with us with his first professional league title.”
