Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, 24, insists he has no regrets about criticizing the Washington Commanders about their excellent college offense before the Bengals lost 33-38 at home to their rivals, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. pgzen
“I have no regrets. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone with that comment. It’s a lot bigger. Yeah, I can definitely swallow my saliva. We lost today,” Taylor-Britt said.
The 24-year-old cornerback has previously said that Commanders No. 2 rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is relatively easy to play with, as head coach Dan Quinn doesn’t push him too much, before the former LSU player exploded with two touchdowns and a run for another score to lead his team to a win over the Bengals on Monday Night Football.
For that, Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury should also get credit for making a great play call that fit Daniels and for the second straight week the Washington offense didn’t have to punt or give up possession. ( pgzen )
