Normally, the Lakers lose to their city rivals, but this season is different, especially with Doncic joining the team, making the last two games win straight, including last Friday, scoring 31 points.  ( pgzen )

On Sunday, he had 29 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds. His efficiency rating when he was on the court in 37 minutes was +19, but in the 11 minutes he didn’t play, the team scored 13 points. 

With such a huge impact on the team, head coach Reddick has to pay tribute to the 25-year-old superstar. 

“It’s like almost the entire game, when we need to get a shot in the basket, when we need to get a double play or when we have three guys on the bench – he’s always going to make the right play,” he told Spectrum Sports Network.

“Except for the six turnovers , the play was amazing. ” 

“ It was another time to liven up the game , igniting the team spirit to compete. ” 

“ Maybe he has a devilish side to him, I’m not sure, but he came on the pitch and did amazing things for us .” 

The Lakers ‘ rise to second in the West is partly due to their improved defense, allowing just 107.5 points per 100 possessions . Since Jan. 15 , they have won 18 of their 22 games .
