Kanter was bought out of Madison Square Garden due to the team’s tanking season and has since signed with the Trail Blazers through the end of the season.  ( pgzen )

The 26-year-old frontcourt debuted as a reserve but made an impact on the second team, scoring 20 minutes on the court and scoring 18 points (8-of-9 field goals), nine rebounds and one steal.

After the game, the Twitter-going troll vented his feelings on his account @Enes_Kanter. “Wow! That’s what winning feels like. I used to feel that way,” the Turkish giant snapped at the Knicks for keeping him on the bench before parting ways and for the team’s woeful form, losing 18 of their last 19 games. 

It is expected that Kanter’s role will increase more and more in Moda Center because the starting center, Yusuf Nurkic, is not that physically strong. However, if the team’s standards are maintained, he should be able to play in the post-season.
