The NBA said Antetokounmpo was the top frontcourt voted for both East and West with 1.7 million votes, followed by Jokic with 1.42 million votes and Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum with 1.38 million votes.

On the other hand, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shay Gilgeous-Alexander, who is averaging 31.3 points and leading his team to a 27-5 record (excluding Friday’s game), is the only backcourt member to garner more than 1 million votes. Charlotte Hornets’ LaMello Ball is in second place with 947,444 votes.

Fan voting announcements will be made every week on the Thursday before the end of participation on January 20. 

The votes are 50% from the fans and the other 50% are split between the league players and the leading media.

The league is scheduled to announce the All-Stars on Jan. 23 and the reserves on Jan. 30, selected by NBA head coaches. 

The 2025 All-Star competition format has changed to 24 players divided into 3 teams of 8 players each, plus the winner of the Rising Stars team, who will be paired up in a crossover competition to find the winner of the championship.
