New Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements said he has no concerns if Aaron Rodgers, 37, skips the team’s offseason activities, NFL Network reported Thursday.

Rodgers was absent from the team’s offseason activities last year due to the ongoing drama surrounding his future with the Packers, which was unclear. While that issue has not been addressed this year, Rodgers has said he has no concerns about it.

‘Aaron doesn’t want to be involved this time of year,’ Clements said. ‘Of course it would be nice to have him here, but he’s seen this stuff a thousand times and he’s ready to go when training camp starts.’

The Packers began rookie minicamp May 6-7 before the offseason kicked off Monday and will wrap up in mid-June with mandatory minicamp June 7-9.
