Perez was given the chance to speak about the club’s youth development system, which is one of the best in the world, having produced several players for the first team and almost two hundred players who have gone on to play for other teams. 

“Real Madrid’s academy is the best in the world,” Perez said.

“The current squad has six players who come from our own academy… Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Fran Gracia, Valverde, Rodrygo and Vinicius.”

“There are 191 Real Madrid players currently in professional leagues, with 51 in the top flight, 56 in the second tier and 84 in foreign leagues.”
