Pepper left the New York Giants to sign a one-year deal with the Patriots in the 2022 offseason before the Patriots brought him back on a two-year deal after that season. The Patriots have now agreed to a three-year, $30 million extension with the 28-year-old safety.

Peppers had his best season of the 2023 season, recording two interceptions, eight pass breakups, one forced fumble, one sack and 78 tackles, while providing stability to the Patriots’ defense with his versatility.
