According to reports from ‘Football International’, the 22-year-old was not in head coach Ange Postecoglou’s plans and was sent on loan to Excelsior last season, where he scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 32 appearances in all competitions. 

With such impressive form, fellow Premier League rivals AZ are ready to chase the Irish star, with a fee of €8 million (£6.7 million) agreed. 

Parrott came through the Spurs academy but was rarely trusted by the first-team coach, having spent time on loan at Millwall, Ipswich, MK Dons and Preston before gaining experience in the Dutch league.
