The Cowboys have lost all five of their home games this season, including two of their last three, to drop to 3-7, while Prescott can only watch the team’s devastation unfold from the sidelines.

“The other day after the game, I was feeling terrible,” Prescott said. “Bang, two or three tears came out of my eyes. It was painful. It was bad at times. You have to understand that this was one of the worst times. Right now, I just want to let it go.”

Prescott began the season on a new four-year, $240 million deal, but a torn hamstring injury ended his season early after just eight games. It also took its toll on his pelvis, which the 30-year-old quarterback admitted made worse.

“It’s been a tough year for me personally because it’s been a year of ups and downs,” Prescott added. “It’s been a lot of ups and downs. I would say I’m riding the wave. I’ve always been told not to ride it.”

‘Off the pitch, it was one of the happiest times I’ve ever imagined and dreamed about, having kids, getting engaged, starting a family. But on the pitch, it was probably the hardest season I’ve ever had. I would say the hardest.’

While Prescott can only watch, he supports his teammates and hopes things will get better for him and the team. ‘I can’t sit back and do nothing. I want to win. I want to win little victories. I have to see that I’m moving forward, even if it looks like I’m in the right place. ‘

‘There’s a future. I know where I’m going. I know I’m going to be faster, stronger and better than I’ve ever been, and I’m going to attack this.’ ( nuno168 )
