Veteran wide receiver Stephon Diggs has expressed his excitement about the opportunity with the New England Patriots and has pledged to build on that with second-year quarterback Drake May, NFL Network reports. mungmee168
“I’m really excited, I’m really looking forward to it,” Dicks said of playing with May. “It’s crazy because if you ask around, there are a lot of similarities. Most people say he acts a lot like Josh (Allen). He’s my guy, so I’m looking forward to meeting him and connecting with him.”
Dicks also expressed his excitement at returning to the AFC East after spending four years with the Buffalo Bills after signing a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots.
“I know the money comes with the performance,” Dicks said. “What I’ve done in the past is my track record. At this point, I’m looking forward to my best performance. Even last year, I had 47 catches, 450 yards or something, almost 500 yards. That’s the halfway point of the season. I could have had another 1,000 yards, 100 catches if I hadn’t been hurt. So if you do the math right, I’m going to be good.”
Dicks has just recovered from a serious knee injury that has left many wondering if he will ever return to his former level of play, with the 31-year-old wide receiver aiming to prove himself in the 2025 season.
‘I’ve been playing this game for 10 and a half years, probably 11 years if I don’t get injured, so I’m looking forward to getting back on track. Young quarterback, good team, a lot of new guys, everything’s going in the right direction, something I want to be a part of.
