The ‘No Mestalla’ project began construction in 2007 but was suspended in 2009 due to the club’s financial problems. After a 16-year hiatus, the Valencia City Council and the Valencia team have reached an agreement to resume construction of the stadium, with a cost of around 300 million euros to complete the stadium, which has a capacity of more than 70,000 seats and is intended to host the 2030 World Cup.
