Former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello, who won two La Liga titles with the club, believes Vinicius Junior has struggled to connect with Kylian Mbappe since the French forward joined the Bernabeu this season, Marca reported on Friday. 

Vinicius has 16 goals and nine assists in 32 appearances in all competitions, while Mbappe has 26 goals and four assists in 38 appearances in all competitions. Despite their impressive individual stats, Capello believes the two star forwards are not quite on the same page as they should be. 

‘Mbappe and Vinicius Junior play in the same position, they play in opposite directions and they don’t play well together,’ Capello said. ‘As individuals, they can do things that others can’t in tight spaces and do things that no one thinks about, but that’s not the unity of a team game.’ ( mungmee168 )
