There were mixed feelings about the 196th Manchester derby, summed up by a series of comments posted on the BBC Sport website.
Calling it the “worst derby in the world” might be an exaggeration, but it summed up the sentiment enough.
“It’s a Manchester derby,” former United captain Gary Neville told Sky Sports. “There could have been more blood, more thunder, more risk and more bravery. “The
jubilation and the love I’m watching suggests both teams are content with a 0-0 draw. It looks like it’s Sunday afternoon and they’re going for dinner together.”
