While delighted with the England forward’s progress, the Spaniard feels there is more to come and now is not the right time to discuss whether the move will become permanent.
“His commitment to work and adapt quickly is very important and he is doing it,” Emery said.
“There is still a lot of work to be done to feel comfortable and play at his best, but today he took another step, to be confident and score goals.”
