Leeds confirmed their promotion to the Premier League last week and were able to celebrate with fans at Elland Road during Monday’s 4-0 Championship win over Bristol City.
Following the promotion, it was rumored that Leeds executives were considering sacking Farke and looking for a new head coach with top-flight experience, given the German coach’s history of leading Norwich City to promotion twice but with poor results in the Premier League.
Farke, who is expected to hold talks with club president Parag Marathe this week, said: “No, it’s not about talks, or the Premier League, or next season.”
“Now it’s a special day, one of the most important days in the history of this club.”
“I’ve always said why I signed a long-term contract here, I want to steady the ship and reunite the club with the fans and the players.”
