He is expected to sign for Brighton and stay on for another year, but Milner has yet to confirm if he will continue his management career after retirement.
“Some days I think I like to do administrative work. And then the other day you see the manager sign a new contract and six weeks later they get sacked. That’s when you think ‘Maybe golf is a better option,'” Milner said.
“We’ll see each other. My career has helped me learn and I played under some incredible managers. I’ve played under bad guys as well. But you can also learn from them.”
