Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto reports that AC Milan are still in talks with Tottenham Hotspur to lower the asking price for Emerson by a bit from the €20m figure.
Representatives from both clubs are expected to meet again next week, and it’s not just Milan who are hoping to reach an agreement, with Tottenham Hotspur and Emerson also hoping.
Emerson has agreed personal terms with Milan and is keen to move to Serie A for the 2024-25 season after learning he is the Rossoneri’s chosen target.
Although Tottenham Hotspur had previously priced Emerson at €25m, they have lowered the asking price to €20m this summer, so Milan will have no easy way to bring that figure down. ( vox888 )
