The Rossoneri have reportedly made a €16m offer to the Blues in a bid to lure the French midfielder away from the club on Sunday.
The move comes after Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed the club had been monitoring Kone and had named the 23-year-old midfielder as one of the players the Italian giants are interested in.
However, Sky Sports Germany confirm that no €16m offer or any offer has been made to Monchengladbach from Milan, as reported.
There has also been no talks between Milan and Gladbach, with the latter waiting for interested clubs to make an offer at the last minute, but only on satisfactory terms.
Sky report that Monchengladbach want at least €20m for Kone, although the club have stated they are ready to sell the player this summer, but everything depends on the club’s asking price. ( superwin636 )
