Milan have been planning to extend Teo’s contract for some time now, but it was put on hold during Euro 2024 with France, and the Rossoneri will now resume the process once the player returns from his holiday.
Italian outlet Calciomercato are reporting that Giorgio Furlani and Jeffrey Moncada are set to resume talks with Teo after he reports back to the club for pre-season, with the 26-year-old left-back currently on holiday.
The France international is expected to be back in Milan’s squad for the final warm-up game against Barcelona on their mini-tour in the United States, but is also expected to return to Milanello before then to build up his fitness.
Teo currently has two more years left on his contract with Milan, until June 2026, earning him €4.5m a year. The French left-back is reportedly demanding a pay rise in line with Rafael Leau’s €6.5m a year. ( superwin636 )
