The team statement said that in addition to Lively, forward combo Olivier-Maxon Prosper also received a team option.
Both are guaranteed two-year contracts, with Lively getting $5.25 million for the 2025-26 season and Prosper getting $3 million.
Lively, the 12th overall pick in the 2023 draft out of Duke University, comes with a 7-foot-1 frame and has been an impact player since the start, starting 42 games and swapping games with Daniel Gafford without any qualms.
His rookie season averages were 8.8 points, 74.7% field goal percentage, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 assists. In the playoffs, he averaged 7.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 21 games as a reserve.
Prosper was the 24th overall pick out of Marquette University , but the 6- foot – 8 forward only played in 40 games, averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game . Player1688
