     Macca provided a key assist for Liverpool’s winning goal in the sinister minute.

     “It’s a special day for us. Winning like that is not easy. We visited a difficult place. In that moment I knew it was the last minute. And I just had to put it in [the box] and then Darwin did the rest. As always, he’s an important player for us. He’s back. So we are very happy,” Macca said after the game.

     “It was very difficult. In the first half we had to run in behind, we didn’t. Then in the second half we did a bit more. We know there are no easy games in the Premier League. This is a difficult place. You can see the atmosphere, so very happy because it’s three points and now we move on. And we miss Thursday.”

     “I think everyone can see that we are always optimistic. You can see Virgil (Van Dijk) and our leaders keeping the team positive. And that’s really important to keep it going from beginning to end. We are a very good team. It’s a very good team with good players on and off the field, so it’s important to stay positive.”
