The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has emerged as a target for Lyon after impressing at the 2024 Olympics and French outlets claim the American is open to a move to the Groupama Stadium.
After this, the deal with Venezia must be completed, but major French media outlets expect that there should be no problem because Tessmann has clearly signaled his desire to move teams, leaving the player’s club with few options.
If Venezia agree to let the Germany international leave, Tessmann is ready to travel to France to sign a five-year deal and be unveiled as an OL newcomer.
Tessmann has been linked with a number of clubs, including Glasgow Celtic, Inter Milan, Torino and Fiorentina.
