England have made a number of changes to their squad but captain and forward Harry Kane will continue to lead the charge in his 100th international appearance. Finland will be led by veteran striker Teemu Pukki.

England had their first chance in the 21st minute when Angel Gomes found Harry Kane who fired a right-footed shot from inside the box but Lukas Hradecky saved Finland.

In the 25th minute, England scored when Bukayo Saka crossed for Harry Kane to head home, but Kane was caught offside and denied the goal.

At the end of the first half, England had two chances from Trent Alexander-Arnold, but they didn’t score, so the first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the second half, England took a 1-0 lead in the 57th minute when Trent Alexander-Arnold passed the ball to Harry Kane, who caught it and tapped it past the Finnish players into the penalty area before firing a full right-footed shot into the net with great satisfaction.

England then took off Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon and brought on Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke in the 66th minute.

73′ Trent Alexander-Arnold lofted the ball from the right past the far post, and Ebereshi Ese volleyed it with his left foot without catching it, but it went over the bar.

The Three Lions took a 2-0 lead in the 76th minute when Noni Madueke, making his international debut, played with Trent on the right before breaking free and crossing for Harry Kane, who volleyed home a superb shot from inside the box. Kane was substituted four minutes later to a standing ovation.

After that, there were no more goals. The game ended with England defeating Finland 2-0, making it two wins in a row and leading the group.
