The Ravens trailed 6-10 early in the third quarter before Jackson’s long bomb to wide receiver Mark Andrews for a 68-yard touchdown reception. In the fourth quarter, with Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers on the up, veteran wide receiver Antonio Gates fumbled and Patrick Onwuasu caught the ball and ran it for a 62-yard touchdown to give the Ravens a 22-10 win.
Jackson, the 32nd overall pick in April, threw for 200 yards in a game for the first time after averaging just 146.2 yards through his first five games. The Ravens defense also kept the Chargers in check, with Rivers completing 23 of 37 passes for 181 yards and two interceptions, without throwing for his first touchdown of the season.
