The Liverpool Echo reports that the Toffees are looking for a new defender to replace James Tarkowski, who is in his 30s, and have been linked with the 27-year-old.
Hanko made his international debut at Euro 2024 for Slovakia, playing at centre-back, stopper and left-back.
Previously linked with Liverpool because of the former Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot taking the reins but chose to pass without bothering his old team.
Everton will compete with Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Leverkusen for his signature.
