Report from ‘Sacramento B Sports’ that the Kings were originally serious about trading the two-time All-Star forward before the Feb. 8 deadline because they saw ‘Spicy P’ was entering the final year of his four-year contract worth a total of 136. Million USD  ( marinabays )

The 29-year-old is averaging 22.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists in his eighth career season. Looks likely to help enhance the potential of Golden 1 Center to raise the level. 

But because of the proposal that both sides could not agree on, the Raptors also seemed to have the advantage in bargaining. Because there were many other negotiating partners, Sacramento said they would pass on looking for other targets.
